While Mr. Hershey is lauded and admired for his business acumen and his generous philanthropy, his success would not have been possible without the women in his life: his mother, Fanny Snavely Hershey; his aunt, Martha “Mattie” Snavely; and his wife, Catherine “Kitty” Sweeney Hershey.
